PRACTICE
Litigation and advisory work: My main practice areas are in constitutional and administrative law. I have experience litigating in the Constitutional Court and Supreme Court of Appeal. Environmental, planning, mining, heritage and procurement reviews for national, provincial and local government are the bulk of my work. I have given extensive advice on expropriation law.

Legislative drafting: I have drafted, or assisted with drafting, several pieces of national, provincial and local government legislation. I have appeared before Parliamentary committees on several occasions regarding draft legislation.

I am an advocacy trainer. I clerked at the Constitutional Court from 2011 for 18 months after serving articles at a commercial litigation law firm from 2009.
